CASE STUDY 1.

The video begins with a close up of Ciara's face whilst she is singing. It then cuts to a full body image of her but only shows her shadow then cuts to a side profile close up of her face whilst her name is shown directly opposite her. This gives off the effect that the words are coming out of her mouth. When she begins to sing the song it shows her walking into a party atmosphere slowly then cuts to a close up of her face. She doesn't sing for this duration and gives off the effect that its telling a story which draws in the audience. It cuts to different things happening in the party whilst she starts to sing along in the party. Everything is very slow moving around her which clearly shows that shes the main character in the video. There is then a wide shot of her and 2 other females dancing, it cuts to different views whilst there dancing but does this rather quickly and is almost unnoticeable.

The music then stops and then begins to tell a little story which is between her and a boy. This is entertaining for the audience watching because it's not only a music video but also a short movie also which is very engaging. The music then begins again and she is shown dancing for the guy who she was previously talking to in a provocative way. The music then stops again and it goes back to the scene where the two are talking, it is then clear to the audience that the previous scene could be a flash forward or something that they are both dreaming about. We can infer this as the male named Future says to the leading lady ' You know your gonna be mine right' which helps us understand that it may have been a flash forward.
